THE CAREER
Podiatric Physician: a doctor who evaluates
and treats the disorders of the lower limb and
foot, is active in maintaining each patient’s general
health, and addresses some of the fastest
growing and neglected health problems affecting
people throughout the world; a physician who
enjoys a balanced professional and personal
life. Flexible working hours, multiple practice

reasons to become a podiatric physician.
THE COLLEGE
The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine is
dedicated to the profession. We are focused
on podiatric medicine; its further development
through clinical innovation and research, and
its benefits to our patient community through
outreach and compassionate care.
We are dedicated to our students. After 4 years
of medical education, each graduate is required
to complete a residency program before practicing
in the field. OCPM takes pride in 100%
placement in residency programs for the past 16
years.
We are located in northeast Ohio, an area that
is renowned for medical research, innovation
and education. OCPM has affiliations to hospitals
and clinics that have achieved worldwide
recognition for their excellence. Cost of living in
the communities surrounding OCPM are friendly
to a student’s budget. A wide variety of housing,
