The
University of Oradea offers an internationally recognised
degree in Medicine and Dentistry.
The University is recognised by the W.H.O,
Medical councils of Great Britain, Canada, and U.S.A,
South Africa, Pakistan, Zambia, Saudi Medical Board,
Germany, France, Italy and many other countries. The
faculty has core clinical training sites at over 10
hospitals with an average of 800 beds. Oradea University
is located in the beautiful city of Oradea, which is
within the border of Romania and Hungary. All classes
in the 6-year programme are in English.
The university has
an extremely educated staff of Doctors who lecture in
the English language. Many of the lecturers are PHD
graduates and are responsible for work done in many
medical textbooks. All lectures are conducted in English,
however students should endeavour to learn the Romanian
language as it will be necessary for interaction between
patients during practical work.
The degree offered is based on the
6 year medical program and focuses on much practical
work. Students gain practical/ hospital exposure from
their first year of study.
